About Text maid

Text maid is text editor based on Windows user interface. It's developed for the same interface on both Windows and X Window System. Text maid isn't used existing widgets or controls, and it's built of original methods. It's provided the comfortable edit environment which can not be realized by using the existing widgets and controls. The person who grew familiar with Windows can shift to the environment of GNU/Linux system.

Environment

Executed environment

GTK+ Edition is GTK+-2.0 or later. Windows Edition is Windows 2000 or later (Japanese Edition).

Development environment

GTK+ Edition is Xubuntu 12.04. Windows Edition is Windows 7 Ultimate (Japanese Edition).

Known problem

These problems are unsettled.

• (GTK+ Edition)If you don't select fixed font, it cna't draw half/full width character.
• When right margin is enable, a number of row isn't in file, it's displayed number.
• Autonegotiation of character set isn't correct.
